“Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before his presence with singing”.
(Psalm 100:2 KJV).

I love this psalm but sometimes it is difficult to serve the LORD with gladness when you have problems, be it health,  financial, emotional,  relationship problems and the list goes on.
One may ask  how can I praise God when my life is riddled with problems on a daily basis?
When you think you have solved one, another one pops up from another side.

Praising God in the midst of pain and suffering may be difficult but it is worth it.
It confuses the devil when you praise God in spite of all the evil arrows he throws at you and as you praise and worship, God releases his warrior angels to battle on your behalf and the enemy is completely defeated.

Remember what happened to the wall of Jericho, you can read all about it in Joshua  ch 6, in verse 20 after matching round the city seven times on the seventh day as the Lord commanded them through Joshua then the priests blew the trumpets and the people shouted and the wall fell down flat.

In the book of Acts ch 16, Paul and Silas while in prison, prayed and sang praises to God and their chains fell off.
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed”. (Acts 16:25‭-‬26 KJV).

So, next time when you feel overwhelmed by the fiery darts of the wicked, just put on your garment of praise and worship God almighty and see the obstacles, sickness,  problems fall off,  the giants collapse and the mountains leveled into flat plains in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

It has been said and confirmed by some faithful servants of God that the assignment of God for each one of us determines the amount of trials and tribulations we go through on this earth.

The joy of it all is that God himself will fight the battle for us if we let him.
The battle is not ours but the Lord’s.

At the end of it all, if we endure to the end, the Lord himself will grant us victory and will wipe away every tear from our eyes.  Be strong and of a good courage,  do not give up. We serve a mighty God with whom all things are possible, trust him. Shalom!
