For the LORD giveth wisdom: Out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding”. (Prov 2:6 KJV).

God gives us the wisdom to do his will. He also gives us the free Will to choose what is right.

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock”. (Matt 7:24 KJV).

We are not like the foolish man who built his house upon sand & it was knocked down by rain, flood and wind. (Matt 7: 26-27).

Building upon sand is equivalent to toiling in vain. After putting in so much time and efforts, nothing is achieved because of wrong decisions and wrong strategies, all effort is wasted.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. (Prov 9:10).
When we have reverential fear of God,  he bestows his wisdom and blessings generously upon us.

A great example was king Solomon.
He asked God for wisdom and understanding to lead the people and our almighty God in his generosity bestowed  upon him not only wisdom and understanding but also riches and honour, and the Bible recorded  that before and after him, there was never any other king with such wisdom. (1King 3: 5-14).

Wisdom is needed in all things, whether personal life, family, education, career and friendship. Every aspect of life experience requires sound decisions through great wisdom.
It is only God who will grant such wisdom.
We need to pray and seek the wisdom that only comes from God not worldly wisdom.”Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding”. (Prov 4:7).

The Bible says in Prov 1:7 that fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Those who despise wisdom, will always make wrong decisions and fall into trouble.

“For wisdom is better than rubies; And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it”. (Prov 8:11).

May almighty God help us all to pursue his wisdom in all aspects of our lives and to apply it in all we do in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
