“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”.
(James 5:16 KJV).

Confess your faults to one another simply means to be open and sincere about your situation, where you went wrong to your fellow brethren, and acknowledge that you need help in your spiritual journey. However, this calls for wisdom and trust.
You do not go about confessing and confiding in everyone you see carrying a Bible,  this can lead to betrayal and disappointment.

Not all  who call Lord, Lord are saved according to (Matt. 7:21), nor can they pray fervently.
Some are waiting for you to open your mouth and they take off gossiping.
Beware who you confess your faults to. Beware who you call your friend.

Anyway, the above verse is quite clear, it says, the “effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much”.
So the prayer partner or church member should be one who is righteous or at most strives to live a righteous life, since none of us is perfect but God almighty helps us as we journey with him. His holy word cleanses and transform us.

Most of the time it is better to call upon God directly and seek him with all your heart and he will surely answer you. (Jer 33:3).
He is a loving father who cares deeply for us his children.

Trust God always and be healed, delivered and set free in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Shalom.
