The world we live in has seen quite some challenges and changes over the years but it took a dramatic turn more than twelve months ago with the outbreak of COVID-19 in December 2019. Now seeking out vaccination for prevention of further spread, yet the actual cure has not been found.
In between there is the issue of antichrist agenda being propagated in all this process.
What are we as believers learning from all these?

The Bible tells us in Matthew 24, that these things will happen before Jesus Christ’ second return to the earth.
Jesus Christ himself said, many false christs will come pretending to be him.
He talked about wars and rumours of wars, which we have witnessed and are still witnessing around the world today. He talked about famine and pestilences.

“For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows”.(Matt 24:5‭-‬8 KJV).

Why did Jesus decide to inform us about these things long before they were actually meant to happen?
It was simply to warn us ahead of time and get us prepared that we be not taken unawares.
Yet so many have said because much time has elapsed, he may not come again, while some say he is already here.
One thing is certain, God is not a man that he should lie. If he said a thing. He will surely bring it to pass. If there is any time to believe God’s word, it is now.

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19 KJV).

If we look around us today we can see that his coming is quite imminent.
There is no need to doubt any more. If there is any time to believe in God and his Son Jesus Christ, it is now.
He is not slack in keeping his promises, his delay so far has been to give us more time to prepare for his coming.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”. (2 Peter 3:9 KJV).

This is the acceptable time, this is the day of salvation, tomorrow might be too late.
Let us seek God while he may be found, tomorrow might be too late.
Jesus Christ will surely return!
We cannot make him return earlier or later, all we need do is continue to trust and obey his word.
The Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV).
Jesus Christ talked about the grain of mustard seed faith. (Luke 17:6 KJV).

Let us simply believe God like little children and trust him for the grace to watch, pray and be ever ready for his coming in glory to take us to our eternal home, in Jesus mighty name. Shalom!
