“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us”. 2 Cor.1:20 KJV

The word of God are yeah and Amen.
When I read God’s word and see all the blessings and promises he has given us in his holy Bible, I cry for joy and sometimes I rebuke myself for not holding firm to his word with faith, especially in time of difficulty when I try to solve every problem on my own instead of handing it all over to him.

He said in Isaiah 43:2. “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”.
This is certainly a great and trustworthy promise from our heavenly father!

Let us learn to trust him more. He is worthy.
One of my favorite scripture verses is Isaiah 41:10, where he said,
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness”.
Knowing that the Lord is with us is enough to dissipate every fear and enable us trust him absolutely.

Earlier in chapter 40 vs 31 of the same Isaiah he said,
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”.
The question is, are we patient enough to wait on the Lord? In a world where life is becoming more and more fast paced.
Most us prefer microwave cooking rather than the slow cooker.

One of the prayers I make unto God is thanksgivings for fighting for us seen and unseen battles.

Do you imagine how often God has delivered us from situations that we do not even know of?
That is why we are told to pray without ceasing. It is a great feeling of peace and joy knowing that God almighty the great creator of the universe has our back covered at every given moment.
His great host of angels battling on our behalf.

When we are sleeping we are unaware of what is going on around us, but God knows and sees and protects us.
He is our father and our healer.
He is the giver of all good and perfect gifts.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”. James 1:17.

May God almighty help us to slow down and reflect and savor our journey and relationship with him and enjoy it as we prepare to meet him face to face some day at his appointed time. Shalom!
