COVID-19 is still proving powerful around the world. Those who go to battle will tell you it’s not easy to kill a certain number people at a time but this evil virus has claimed up to a thousand lives in one day in some countries. It is in itself a WMD.
A tiny invisible virus has wrecked more havoc in human life than anything one can imagine.
The statistics stands at >2.3 million infected, 158, 884 deaths, 591,107 recovered worldwide as of today, and it is changing by the minute.
The world has been changed forever. We don’t know where this will lead to and what will happen afterwards. Things will never be the same.
However strong COVID-19 may prove to be, there is a God in heaven who is far more greater and more powerful than coronavirus and the perpetrators of wickedness. He is still on his throne.
There have been talks about world economy, nobody is saying much about those who lost their lives as a result of the virus, how their families are coping. Where are the souls of the dead?
There is life after death whether you believe it or not, your belief does not change the reality.
The Bible says in Heb. 9:27,
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”. So you see, judgment awaits all. Where will that lead you?
I read about an Atheist who recently surrendered his life to Jesus Christ amidst this Coronavirus pandemic, after being an atheist all his life, he had a change of heart saying what if there’s God after all, what if he has been wrong in thinking there is no God? so he gave up his unbelief and accepted Jesus Christ into his life. What a great testimony!
What about you who is reading this? Have you surrendered your own life to Jesus Christ? Do it quickly before it’s too late.
It is a fool who says in his heart, there is no God according to Ps 14:1.

Out of COVID-19 comes the word ‘COVID anxiety syndrome’, you are told to stay home, please sit yourself at home, and it doesn’t mean to glue your eyes to the television or the internet. In as much as it is good to be in the know, be careful what you feed your eyes at this time. I have seen a lot of people in the past 3 weeks with COVID anxiety and most of them have the same story, sitting in front of the TV or computer screen after watching everything about COVID-19, they can’t sleep, they stay up all night worrying if they got the virus or not and what is going to happen to them and their family, they become panicky and they jump out of bed very early in the morning, they go on the bus or taxi and become claustrophobic, they jump out of the bus/taxi and rush to the clinic with heart racing as if it is going to pop out of their chest.
Stop it people! Stop it!
Stay home does not mean to feed your eyes and soul with information that you can’t handle.
Look for something else that is interesting and engaging to do. Fear can kill, extreme fear can cause heart attack. Listen to some good worship songs, get close to God, study your Bible, pray.
Remember that garden you always wanted to have, this is the time to start it. Or you can sew some masks for your family and friends if you are good at sewing, become innovative at this time.
I’m not saying to live as if COVID-19 doesn’t exist, try and limit what you feast your eyes on if you know you are not capable of going on with your life after watching it. Be careful, stay at home, be strong, be safe.
Above all trust God, he is is the greatest Physician, the Doctor of all doctors. He is our Healer, our Protector and our Deliverer. He said in Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth”.
The Lord is calling the whole world to repentance. This is the time, tomorrow might be too late.
“Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning”. Joel 2:12 KJV.

He also said that he will never leave us nor forsake us.
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee”.
Hebrews 13:5 KJV.

Be comforted by the Word of God. Be strong, remain blessed in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Shalom!.
