O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
Psalms 63:1 KJV.
Whenever I read the above verse, I long to be in heaven with the Lord.
Although I know the Lord is here with me yet I long for the home beyond. My prayer always is that we don’t mess up and miss the mark. God is our Sustainer and He will see us through to the end in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
As Christians we expect to be called home any time, none of us knows how we will depart this life. As I mature in my Christian work, I realize that it doesn’t matter how one dies, people can die by accident or through illness or old age or by fire and any other means and still make heaven, what matters is the state of one’s heart and mind at the time. If you have accepted the finished work of salvation given to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, then you don’t need to fear death or dying.
The Lord himself said he will never leave us nor forsake us. There is no need to fear or doubt one’s salvation, only believe in him with your whole being and trust that what he said he will do, he will surely do.
Trust God and obey him, worship him and adore him, with him all things are possible.
Be blessed in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
