“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”. John 16:33 KJV.

Today, I am thankful for the Word of God. I want to give him praise for all things that he has allowed in my life.

Everything has not been as I would have loved it as a human being, but God remains God. He is the all loving, all knowing, all powerful, and ever present God. He said he knows the thought he has for us, thoughts of peace and not of evil and to bring us to an expected end. Jer 29 :11.

God is our ever present help in the time of need. Psalm 46:1.

He said he will never leave us nor forsake us. Heb 13:5.

All we need do is claim his promises for our lives, believe him with our whole hearts, doubting nothing, because, God is not man that he should lie.

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Num 23:19 KJV.

In the midst of the multitude of the challenges I have faced in this life, I have seen tremendous miracles. I have seen the hand of God reach deep down to pull me out of what I call a deep pit. I looked back, filled with awe, with tears of joy flowing, I said, who are my Lord, that among over 7 billion human beings on this earth, you singled me out for a great miracle of deliverance. What an awesome God we serve.

I made up my mind years ago, no turning back. I will serve the Lord all the days of my life. What about you? Don’t say, when I experience a miracle or get a breakthrough then I’ll believe. No!

Believe now and the miracles and breakthroughs will follow.

He said, seek ye first, the kingdom of God and his righteousness and every other thing shall be added unto you. Matt 6:33.

His word shall not return to him void.

Trust God more, seek him more and see the manifestation of his glory in your life.

Prayer.

Heavenly father, thank you for your love, your mercy, your forgiveness and your miracles in our lives. Forgive us for our ungrateful attitudes.

Lord, we love you and appreciate you. Help us to give you all our time not part of it, not remembering you only when we are in trouble but to surrender all unto you, in good times and in not so good times.

Help us to acknowledge you in all we do.

May the words of our mouth and the meditations of our hearts be pleasing and acceptable unto you, our ABBA father, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
